Smith - London
REIDSVILLE — Ashley Brooks London of Stoneville and Kenneth Brian Smith of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony May 2 at 5 p.m. at the Belmont House, with pastor Paul Talley officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Sherry Thompson and Tony London of Stoneville and the granddaughter of Joel and Geraldine Pratt and the late Evelyn and Joe London of Stoneville.
She is a 1998 graduate of Morehead High School in Eden. She is employed by the State Employees Credit Union as a financial services officer.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Phyllis Smith of Goldsboro and the grandson of Ruby Braswell, the late Ralph Braswell, Betty Gene Smith and the late Elwood Lee “Dick” Smith of Goldsboro.
He is a 1998 graduate of Rosewood High School and a 2005 graduate of Johnston Community College with an associate degree in radiography. He is employed as an x-ray technician with Quality Mobile X-ray in Greensboro.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Christy Robertson was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Andi Fenny, Missy Busik, Christy Cook and Renee Combs.
Kenneth Smith was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Jason Creech, Carter Combs, Brad Waters and Buck London.
Kristen Robertson was the junior bridesmaid.
Gracie Rogers was the flower girl. Joseph London was ringbearer.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at the Belmont House.
After their wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple now resides in Stoneville.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner May 1 at Sagebrush Steakhouse in Reidsville.
