Winner - Hawkins
EDINBURG, Va. — Rosanna Louise Hawkins and Robert Wade Winner exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with Harold Burnette officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne DeLacy and Miranda Strickland Hawkins of Edinburg and the granddaughter of Kenneth Dalmond and Louise Mae Hawkins of Edinburg and William Gene and Ada Rose Jones of Goldsboro.
She is a 2007 graduate of Sweet Briar school. She is employed as an educational assistant at Peter Muhlenburg Middle School.
The groom is the son of Stanley and Patricia Winner of Virginia Beach, Va.
He is a 2007 graduate of Hampden-Sydney school. He is employed as a biologist at HSRL Research Lab.
The bride was escorted by father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a floor-length ivory strapless satin gown with a short train and a chocolate brown sash.
Her headpiece was a blusher veil with jeweled side clips.
The bride carried a bouquet of cream Gerber daisies tipped in royal blue.
Leah Michelle Hawkins was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Caitlyn Ashley, Tiffany Hawkins, Kathleen French and Kathryn Pierce.
Andrew Wright was best man.
Groomsmen were Matthew Krieder, Brandon Hartsock, James Haynes and Tommy Watson.
Rylee Paige Blackmon of Clinton was flower girl. Aiden Staten was ringbearer.
A program of wedding music was provided by Lily Bowers, pianist; Allie French, vocalist; and Leah Hawkins, celloist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Edinburg VFW Hall.
After a wedding trip to Sugarloaf Mountain, Md., the couple resides in Mount Jackson, Va.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Edinburg VFW Hall.
