Wilson - Hill
Cameron Leigh Hill of Princeton and Jason Eric Wilson of Princeton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 11 at 5 p.m. at Goldsboro Worship Center, with Pastor Danny Johnson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jimmy Hill of Goldsboro and Terry Ryals of Dudley and the granddaughter of Charles and Carol Hill of Princeton, James Ryals of Cresent City, Fla., and Rose Lancaster of Edgewater, Fla.
She graduated from Rosewood High School in 2002 and from Fayetteville Technical college in 2007. She is employed as a physical therapist assistant at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The groom is the son of James and Darlene Wilson of Goldsboro and the grandson of Myra Sundberg of Glendale, Ariz., and Melvin and Jodene Churchill of Phoenix, Ariz.
He graduated from Rosewood High School in 2003 and attends Johnston Community College. He is employed as a pharmacy technician at Walgreen.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by parents.
She wore a diamond white strapless gown with embroidered crystal beading and sequins on the bodice and a silk taffeta skirt with pick-ups. The corset lace-up back flowed into a semi-cathedral train.
Her headpiece was a silk headband embellished with pearls, crystals and sequins with flowing ties.
The bride carried a bouquet of pink hydrangeas, roses and orchids.
Deanna Wheeler was her friend’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Nicole Hill, cousin of the bride, and Blanca Gondeck, friend of the bride.
Fred Simon IV was his friend’s best man.
Groomsmen were Jeremy Wilson and Joshua Wilson, brothers of the groom.
Ushers were Daniel Hill, brother of the bride, and Charles Hill, cousin of the bride.
Emily Mattison, cousin of the groom, was flower girl.
Jill Watkins-Carden directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Tina Sargent and Susan Lethco. Danny Lethco and Zach Hall distributed programs. Dacey Hill, cousin of the bride, distributed birdseed.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held in the fellowship hall.
After a wedding cruise to the Caribbean, the couple reside in Rosewood.
Events held before the wedding included a bachelor party Oct. 10 hosted by Ashley Wheeler; a bachelorette weekend in September hosted by Deanna Wheeler; a bridal shower in September hosted by bride’s co-workers; a bridal/housewarming shower in August hosted by Terry Ryals and Carol Hill; a Pampered Chef shower in May hosted by Jean McNeill; and a lingerie shower hosted by Darlene Wilson and Kim Clark.
The groom’s parents hosted a cookout rehearsal dinner at Goldsboro Worship Center.
