Weeks - Rosser
SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. — Lauren Melissa Rosser and Robert Todd Weeks exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. at Social Circle United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Montgomery Rosser of Oxford, Ga., and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland A. Mundy of Brandon, Fla., Mrs. Ellene Rosser of Covington, Ga., and the late Mr. Rosser.
She is a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in family and child development.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson Weeks Jr. of Goldsboro and the grandson of Mrs. Hubert W. Partin Jr. of Goldsboro, the late Mr. Partin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Weeks of Tarboro.
He is a 2005 and 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Master of Science degree in accountancy. He is employed as a CPA with Deloitte in Atlanta, Ga.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Natalie Etter of Georgia was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lisa Leigh, Jamie Paticchio, Amanda Sears, Cameron Smith and Amy Tarleton of Georgia and Elizabeth Hott of New Bern.
Clarence J. Weeks was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Cline of Nashville, Tenn., Caleb Griffith of Garner, Daniel Joyner of Apex, Luke Pearson of Wilmington and Josh Pelletier of Kinston.
Amelia Leigh of Social Circle was flower girl. Evan Rosser of Hoschton, Ga., was ringbearer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Burge Plantation in Mansfield, Ga.
After a wedding trip to Tortola, British Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Atlanta.
Events held before the wedding included showers and parties hosted by family and friends.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Cherokee Run Country Club in Conyers, Ga.
