Hare - Lynn
Angela Faircloth Lynn of Goldsboro and Jimmy McLeon Hare Jr. exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 28 at 4 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Delmus Ayers officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Robert Timothy “Tim” Faircloth of Winterville and Brenda Pender Faircloth of Goldsboro, the stepdaughter of Sue Faircloth of Winterville and the granddaughter of the late Robert Holmes and Beatrice Collier Faircloth of Goldsboro and the late Carl Eugene Pender Sr. and Helen Patricia Pender of Mooresville.
She graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School and Johnston Community College with an associate degree in early childhood education. She attends Mount Olive College for a bachelor’s degree in education. She is employed as a teacher’s assistant at Rosewood Elementary School.
The groom is the son of Jimmy McLeon Hare Sr. and Mary Tucker Hare of Goldsboro, the stepson of Connie Kirby of Goldsboro, the grandson of the late Carl Hare, Rachel Hare, the late Stanley of Goldsboro and Dorothy Anderson Tucker of Goldsboro and the stepgrandson of Ruth M. Kornegay.
He is employed as a pump technician at Pearson Pumps Sales and Service Inc.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family.
She wore an ivory strapless A-line gown trimmed with a band of burgandy embellished satin. The bodice was decorated with crystal beadwork. The back was accented with satin covered buttons that flowed into a semi-cathedral train embellished with crystal beadwork and a burgandy satin trim.
Her headpiece was her sister’s tiara of pearls and rhinestones.
The bride carried a clutch bouquet of burgandy roses, ivory gerber daises and burgandy stargazer lillies tied with burgandy, ivory and silver ribbons.
Heather Faircloth Bailey was her sister’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kristen Lynn of Goldsboro, daughter of the bride; Lindsay Hare of Goldsboro, daughter of the groom; Jenny Hall of Wilson, sister of the groom; and Katie Smith of Harkers Island, friend of the couple.
Chris Hare was his father’s best man.
Groomsmen were Jordan Lynn of Goldsboro, son of the bride; Jamie Hare of Goldsboro, brother of the groom; Donald “D.J.” Jenkins of Goldsboro, stepbrother of the groom; and Chris Bailey of Goldsboro, brother-in-law of the bride.
McKenna Bailey of Goldsboro, neice of the bride, and Kimberlin Jones of Goldsboro, friend of the couple, were flower girls. Caleb Mooring of Goldsboro, friend of the bride, was ringbearer.
Sharon Mozingo, friend of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Angela Briggs, friend of the bride. Krystal Epps, friend of the couple, distributed programs.
Jay Hall, nephew of the groom, was acolyte.
A program of wedding music was provided by Hope Hicks, friend of the couple, pianist, and David Wiley, friend of the couple, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Becky Tyndall and Tracy Brantham, friends of the bride, served the wedding cake.
After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a shower June 4 hosted by co-workers at Rosewood Elementary School; a shower June 1 at Whitley Church hosted by family and the Whitley Church choir; and a miscellaneous shower May 30 at the home of Cami Jones hosted by Ms. Jones.
A rehearsal dinner was held June 27 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
