Pridgen - Brewington
Cheryl Renee’ Brewington of Clayton and Roger Gene Pridgen of Clayton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 19 at 3 p.m. at Walnut Creek Country Club, with Elder Kenneth Vaughn officiating.
The bride is a 1984 graduate of Goldsboro High School.
The groom is the son of Richard and Ceola Best of Goldsboro.
He is a 1985 graduate of Goldsboro High School.
The bride was escorted by her brother, James Eugene Jones.
Teresa McCant and Mellar Raiford were matrons of honor, while Takarra Royal, daughter, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Tonya Barrett, Julianna Henry and Sharon Miller.
Richard Best was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Jasper Barrett, James Henry Larry McCant, Eddie Raiford and Johnnie Raiford.
Ushers were Ishmael Bunch, James L. Jones Jr. and Jeffery Newsome.
Tamera Rorie was flower girl.
Patricia Isley directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Elizabeth Brewington and Tywanny Gills.
A program of wedding music was provided by Lashonda Akins, Stephanie Jones, Farrah Miller, Lamar Royal, Shamellar Raiford, Dennis Spears, and Dawanna Williams, vocalists, and Leamon Parks III, organist.
The couple reside in Clayton.
