Haskett - Painter
Jinjer Elizabeth Painter and Daniel Ernest Haskett exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 24 at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God, with the Rev. W. Ralph Painter and the Rev. J. Edward Blount officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Joy Painter of Dudley and the granddaughter of Edward and Frances Blount of Greenville, S.C., and Tom and Ruth Painter of Ninety-Six, S.C.
She is a 2004 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2008 graduate of Southeastern University of Florida. She is employed as an elementary teacher at Brogden Primary School.
The groom is the son of Jim and Donna Haskett of Lincolnton and the grandson of the late Ernest and Bertie Huss, the late Mae Haskett and Len Haskett of Lincolnton.
He is a 2007 graduate of Southeastern University. He is employed as the youth pastor at First Assembly.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.
She wore a full-length candlelight embroidered organza over silk gown. It had a spaghetti strap bodice embellished with lace, pearls and crystals. The full skirt extended to a full-length train.
Her headpiece was a tiara of pearls and crystals with a two-layered elbow-length veil trimmed with crystals.
Jacki Lollar was matron of honor, while Jana Painter was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sharon Painter, Jenifer Patton and Jayme Benton.
Jim Haskett was best man.
Ushers were Jonathan Painter, Jason Lollar and Justin Sweet.
Groomsmen were Joshua Haskett, Scott Smith, Ben Jones and Jeremy Brantley.
Moriah Smith was flower girl. Micah Smith was ringbearer.
Cindy King directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kaitlyn Coyle. Amy Camp distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Ashley Haskett, vocalist, and Hal Veronee, violinist.
The couple reside in Dudley.
