Lane - Wiggins
Vivian Karen Wiggins of Pikeville and William Anthony Lane of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 26 at 3 p.m. at Pineview Baptist Church, with the Rev. Aubrey Jones officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth Ray Wiggins Jr. of Dubary, Fla., and Margie Carolyn Hayes of Benson, Ariz., and the granddaughter of Lois Pelt of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School. She is employed at Unique Cleaning.
The groom is the son of Frances Lane Edmundson of Pikeville and the grandson of the late Toney and Rena Forehand Lane of Pikeville.
He is a graduate of Goldsboro High School. He is employed at WalMart Stores Inc.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore an ivory satin A-line gown embroidered and beaded on the bodice with a sweetheart neckline, sheer short sleeves and a semi-cathedral train.
She wore flowers in her hair.
The bride carried a bouquet of daisies.
Teresa Gill was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Wendy Flowers and Angie Toler.
Randy Alan Toler was his brother-in-law’s best man.
Groomsmen were Billy Wiggins and Ricky Hayes.
Ushers were Daniel Barwick and Ricky Barwick.
Taylor Saucier, daughter of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.
Logan Flowers was flower girl. Brandon Wiggins was ringbearer.
Evelyn Jones directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Candie Wiggins.
A program of wedding music was provided by Darrell Walker.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s mother hosted a reception in the church fellowship hall. Rachel Talton, aunt of the groom, and Angie Toler, sister of the groom, served the three-tiered wedding cake.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Pikeville.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower March 30 hosted by Teresa Gill.
The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner April 25 in the church fellowship hall.
