Poole - Musgrave
FREMONT — Kelly Marie Musgrave and Joshua Larry Poole exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. at 5 p.m. at the home of Joe and Deborah Marm, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Peter Al and Phyllis Ingle Musgrave of Princeton and Joe Hall of High Point and the granddaughter of the late Francis and Maxine Ingle, the late Hector Musgrave, the late Hazel Santos and the late Joe and Ester Hall.
She is a 1999 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2006 graduate of Johnston Community College’s radiology program. She is employed as a radiology technologist with Wayne Radiology Associates.
The groom is the son of Jay Faison and BrendaLynn “Lynn” Fail of Pikeville, the grandson of Brenda Woodson of Clarksville, Va., and Charles “C.B.” and Laura Fail of Pikeville, the great-grandson of the late Roger Woodson and Mildred Rowland Woodson Francis and the stepgreat-grandson of the late Cordell Francis.
He is a 2000 honor graduate of Rosewood High School, a 2004 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice and a 2005 graduate of Lenoir Community College. He is employed as a police officer.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal gown of ivory-crushed Grecian satin with rhapsody taffeta. The strapless neckline gown had a full bustled skirt with a corsage-laced bodice and a corset lace-up back. The mock two-piece bodice was accented with a taffeta ribbon sash.
Her headpiece was two rhinestone hairpins.
The bride carried a bouquet of flame calla lilies wrapped and tied with ribbon.
Jessica Byrd of Albertson was her friend’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Johanna Poole of Pikeville, sister of the groom, and Kristen Musgrave of Fuquay-Varina, sister-in-law of the bride.
Joey Poole of Goldsboro was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Jay Fail of Pikeville, father of the groom, and Scott Musgrave of Fuquay-Varina, brother of the bride.
Morgan Evans of Pikeville, cousin of the groom, was flower girl.
Deborah Marm of Fremont, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Phyllis Edmundson of Fremont, aunt of the bride, and Tracy Ivey of Fremont, cousin of the bride.
A program of wedding music was provided by Justin Murphy and Julie Murphy, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at the Marm home. Tracy Ivey cut the wedding cake. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Marm greeted guests.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Pikeville.
Events held before the wedding included a shower and pig picking Nov. 24 at the American Legion building in Princeton hosted by the bride’s parents.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner Dec. 7 at Harmony Lodge.
