Jeffers - Waddell
Diana Kathleen Waddell and Jeremy Dowell Jeffers exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Father Tom Norris officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Patricia Waddell of Goldsboro.
She is a graduate of Wayne Christian School, Wayne Community College with an associate in arts degree and Mount Olive College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She is employed as a biologist at Talecris Biotherapeutics.
The groom is the son of Philip C. and Noelina Jeffers of Goldsboro.
He is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School and Mount Olive College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He is employed as a chemist at Talecris Biotherapeutics.
The bride was escorted by the groom.
Shannon Prasad was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Stephany LaFlamme and Anjie McCumbee.
Philip Jeffers was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Brandon Faucette, Kevin Coghill, Ranier Jeffers and Philip G. Jeffers.
Juliana Jeffers and Grace Jeffers were junior bridesmaids.
Philip M. Jeffers was ringbearer.
Scripture readers were Jonathan Waters, Detris King and Marc Facundo.
A program of wedding music was provided by Kim Honeycutt, pianist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base’s Enlisted Club.
After a wedding trip to Elk Creek, Va., the couple reside in Rosewood.
Events held before the wedding included a shower Oct. 23 hosted by co-workers of the bride; a shower Oct. 16 hosted by co-workers of the groom; and a shower Aug. 11 hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Krishna Prasad.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the couple.
