Bundy - Turpin
OAHU, Hawaii — Rhonda Gail Turpin and James Autry Bundy III exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 29 at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Karen Carson Russ officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jason R. Turpin Sr. and Pamela B. Turpin of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Paul Turpin Sr. and Hazel Hunt Turpin of Asheboro and the late Jesse Barnette Sr. and Jean Gurley Barnette of Goldsboro.
She is employed as a customer service representative at Strickland Insurance Group.
The groom is the son of James Autry Bundy II and Lynda Kay Bundy of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late James Autry Bundy Sr. of Goldsboro, Jenny Simmons Bundy, the late Pearle Jones and Elouise Jones of Goldsboro.
He is employed as a maintenance manager at Walnut Creek County Club.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Hunter Alan Marshall of Goldsboro.
The bride’s parents and family held a reception Oct. 6 at Pikes Cross Road Pentecostal Holiness Church fellowship hall.
After a wedding trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, the couple reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a girls’ night out Sept. 24 hosted by Amy Kennedy and Jodi Daniels; a miscellaneous shower Sept. 12 hosted by co-workers of the bride; and a tool and household shower Sept. 8 at the Corner Coffee Shop hosted by Dr. Brooke Bundy, sister of the groom.
