Chestnut - Wheeler
ATLANTIC BEACH — Erin Brooke Wheeler and Benjamin Miller Chestnut exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 8, with Grady D. Wheeler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Janet Wheeler of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Grady and Gladys Wheeler and Robert and Barbara Kinsler of Goldsboro.
She is employed at Naomi’s.
The groom is the son of Michael Chestnut of Smithfied and Ruth Ackley of Sidney, Mont., and the grandson of James and Jewel Chestnut of Goldsboro and Carol Marak of Billings, Mont.
He is employed at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a formal strapless organza A-line gown with satin draping. The bodice was embellished with pink embroidery, pearls, sequins and seed pearls. It had a gathering at the waistline and flowed into a chapel-length train accented with pearls and sequins.
Her headpiece was a rhinestone tiara attached to a fingertip-length veil with scallop-beaded edging.
The bride carried a tropical bouquet of hot pink nerine lilies, yellow pratea, purple orchids and blue agapanthus accented with yellow kangaroo paw, green orchids and orange tiger lilies.
Kasie Kinsler was her cousin’s maid of honor.
Michael Chestnut was his son’s best man.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Bogue Sound room at the Sheraton Hotel.
After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple reside in Goldsboro.
