MAGGIE VALLEY — Donna Barefoot Lee of Clinton and Arnold Wade Price exchanged vows in a private outdoor ceremony July 16 at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Clifford P. Hannah officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joan Fryar Justice and the late Paul Wayne “Jake” Justice of Clinton and Victor Paul Barefoot of Stuart, Va., and the granddaughter of Evelyn Blanton Fryar, the late Henry Vance Fryar,. Maybelle McClenny Barefoot and the late George Matthew Barefoot of Clinton.
She is a graduate of Union High School and Sampson Community College with an Associate Degree in nursing. She is employed with Southern Pharmacy Services in Pink Hill as a registered nurse consultant and as manager of Beacon Arms Assisted Living Center in Snow Hill.
The groom is the son of James Arnold Price and Lois Marie Wolfe Price of Seven Springs and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Price of Seven Springs and the late Nellie Herring Wolfe of Mount Olive.
He is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School and Wayne Community College with a certification as an emergency medical technician-intermediate. He is employed with Wayne County Emergency Medical Services as an EMT-I and as manager of Beacon Arms Assisted Living Center in Snow Hill.
After a wedding trip to Maggie Valley and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple reside in Clinton.
Events held before the wedding included a wedding cake and special evening meal July 22 hosted by Shelby Jean Powell, aunt of the groom and a brunch July 15 at the home of the bride’s grandmother, Evelyn Blanton Fryar, hosted by the bride’s family.
