Aldrich - Edwards
Brenda Anderson Edwards and Cliff Jay Aldrich exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 6 at 3 p.m. at New South Country Club, with Marc Swanner officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Franklin Roosevelt and Mary Ellen Anderson of Kinston and the late Shirley Lee Bradshaw of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Roscoe and Lela Newell Bradshaw and the late Edgar and Nellie Gray Anderson of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 1980. She is employed at Cooper Standard Automotive Inc.
The groom is employed at Quality Farm Equipment.
The bride was escorted by her father and son and given in marriage by her father and children.
She wore a formal white satin off-the-shoulder gown with a princess neckline and low back trimmed in sequins and pearls. The A-line skirt flowed into a chapel-length train.
Her headpiece was a pearl and sequined headband with a white elbow-length two-tiered veil adorned with pearls and satin edging.
The bride carried a bouquet of white roses accented with pearls.
Heather Edwards was her mother’s maid of honor.
Billy Anderson, brother of the bride, was best man.
Groomsmen and bridesmaids were Billy and Lynn Holland, Larry and Belinda Westbrook, Linda Mullett and Keith Mundorf, friends of the couple.
Kylie Anderson, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Hunter Grant, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.
Phyllis Anderson, sister-in-law of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Stephanie Combs, friend of the couple.
Following the ceremony, a dance reception was held at New South Country Club. Leslie Anderson, sister-in-law of the bride, served the wedding cake.
After a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple reside in Mount Olive.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Golden Corral. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
