Jones - Chase
DUDLEY — Janet Faye Chase and James Ervin Jones exchanged vows in a double-ring outdoor ceremony April 19 at 7 p.m. at the home of the groom, with the Rev. Joseph Leonard officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Sherwood Chase.
She wore a full-length gown of champagne beige with a sequin-covered bodice.
Her headpiece was accented with pink roses and baby’s breath.
The bride carried a bouquet of pink roses and baby’s breath.
Makenzie Williams, granddaughter of the bride, and Cameron Jones, great-grandson of the bride, were flower attendants.
Christian Chase, grandson of the bride, was ringbearer.
A program of wedding music was provided by the bride, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, Ruby Hill, Carol Hill and friends held a reception at the home. A four-tiered wedding cake was served.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Nahunta.
Events held before the wedding included a dinner May 5 at Goldsboro Worship Center Church of God fellowship hall.
