Atkinson - Ervin
Rebecca Ervin and Rodney Atkinson of Princeton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 7 at 4 p.m. at the Arts Council of Wayne County, with the Rev. Michael Williams officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William and Linda Ervin of Goldsboro.
She is a 2003 graduate of Spring Creek High School.
The groom is the son of Joan Strickland of Abilene, Texas.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Elizabeth Pearce was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brenda Ervin, Brittny Painter, Xan Painter and Stacey Zerkle.
Jeff Robinson was best man.
Groomsmen were Justin Brady, Drew Painter, Jeremy Pearce and Rob Brogden.
Cameron Painter was the usher.
Jillian Pearce was flower girl. Dylan March was ringbearer.
Aaron James directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Sandra Wheeler.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Sarah’s Garden.
The couple reside in Princeton.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower March 31 at Bistro 54/54 hosted by the bride’s mother and Elizabeth Pearce.
A rehearsal was held at McCalls.
