Russell - Taylor
Sheri Johnson Taylor and Curtis Wade Russell Jr. of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. at Rosewood Worship Center, with Horace Johnson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Eric and Gloria Johnson of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Neil Johnson, Mildred Johnson, Georgia Mae Jackson and the late Oscar Jackson of Goldsboro.
She is employed as a hairstylist at Sheri’s Hair Salon.
The groom is the son of Curtis Wade Russell Sr. of Newport and Debra Donald of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Lional and Doris Russell of Newport and Penny McFatter and the late Walter McFatter of Goldsboro.
He is employed as an inspector/sales rep with Terminix.
The bride was escorted by her son, Oscar Taylor.
Lynne Fulghum and Michelle Braxton were matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sara Johnson, Sharon Lee and Jennifer Mesimer.
Monty Mesimer was best man.
Groomsmen were Jonathan Russell, Johnny Oliver, Justin Moore and Robbie Lancaster.
Georgia Fulghum was flower girl.
Lee Ann Keen directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Cheryl Ellis and Jamilynne Ellis.
A program of wedding music was provided by Anna Lee Crumpton, harpist.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple reside in Goldsboro.
