Holmes - Ingram
Elizabeth Michelle Ingram and Christopher Allen Holmes exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 10 at 2:30 p.m. at The Brick Village, with the Rev. Tim Sharp officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Robert L. Jr. and Linda Ingram of Dudley and the granddaughter of Robert L. Sr. and Juanita Ingram and Eldon and Thelma Clark of Tampa, Fla.
The groom is the son of Paul and Merita Holmes of Goldsboro and the grandson of Walter Holmes, Judy Westbrook, Marshall Hinson and Margaret Hinson of Goldsboro.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white satin strapless chapel-length gown with beading and embroidery with a lace-up corset back. The bodice band, trim and embroidery were in magenta.
Her headpiece was a butterfly crystal rhinestone tiara comb attached to a double-tiered white shoulder-length veil with magenta pencil trim.
Haley Wright was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Cathy Hunt and Susan Strickland.
Mike Canton was best man.
Groomsmen were Kevin Lungquist and Howard Howell.
Robert Strickland was the usher.
Presiding at the register were Judith Barlette and Desirae Dollar.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at The Brick Village. Janice Newcomb, Cheryl Griffin, Terry Hines and Sandra Lewis, friends, were servers.
The couple reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower Nov. 19 in Emmaus Baptist Church fellowship hall hosted by members of the church.
