Williams - Oddon
MOUNT OLIVE — Missy Marie Oddon and Justin Michael Williams exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. at Eureka Christian Church, with Bob Goodman officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Rick Oddon of Raleigh and Pam Stiles of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Francis Bouchard and the late John Oddon of Waterbury, the late James Chapman of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Ellen O’keefe of Garner.
She is employed as an administrative assistant at 3M.
The groom is the son of Michael and JoAnne Williams of Goldsboro, the grandson of Douglas and Louise Williams of Goldsboro and Edmond Schwartz of Snow Hill and Alpha Spears of Duffield, Va., and the stepgrandson of Janie Schwartz of Snow Hill.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by Tom Stiles.
Emily Taylor was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jamie Guerette, Christina Williams and Teressa Bernes.
Michael Williams was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Joseph Williams, Billy Easterday Jr., Ricky Oddon and Jay Kornegay Jr.
Taylor Deckard was flower girl. Zachary Weaver was ringbearer.
Shannon Weaver directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Keri Heath. Morgan Heath distributed programs.
Macey Weeks distributed bubbles.
A program of wedding music was provided by Emily Taylor and Jay Kornegay Jr., vocalists.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Eureka Christian Church.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple reside in Raleigh.
Events held before the wedding included showers at Eureka Christian Church, Providence United Methodist Church and New Covenant Fellowship and a dinner at the Steak Barn hosted by David John and Minnie Overman.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner Aug. 11 at Providence United Methodist Church.
