Narron - Howell
EMERALD ISLE —Kelli Ruth Howell and Joshua Shane Narron exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. at the beach, with Jonathan Chavous officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Shane and Joy Howell of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of James Howell, Shirley Cook and the late Edwin and Ruth Crow of Goldsboro.
She is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and Wayne Community College. She is employed as an instructional assistant at Edgewood Community Developmental School.
The groom is the son of Freddy and Danette Narron of Goldsboro and the grandson of Ruby and the late Charles Narron of Selma and Franklin and Patricia Johnson of Goldsboro.
He graduated from Southern Wayne High School and attended Wayne Community College. He is employed at the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by parents.
Courtney Howell of Goldsboro served as her sister’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kerri Shipp of Goldsboro and Christy Sullivan of Mount Olive, sisters of the bride, and Ashley Narron of Goldsboro, sister of the groom.
Freddy Narron was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Shipp and Trey Johnson of Goldsboro and Andy Sullivan of Mount Olive, friends of the groom and Timmy Johnson of Goldsboro, uncle of the groom.
Tracy Pendergraft of Goldsboro, friend of the couple, directed the wedding.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held.
After a wedding trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C., the couple reside in LaGrange.
Events held before the wedding included a lingerie shower hosted by sisters of the bride; a bridal shower hosted by women of Church on the Rock; a gift card shower hosted by Edgewood staff; and a tool shower at Grantham Fire Department.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner in Emerald Isle.
