Sellers - Bravo
Ena Santos Bravo of Jacksonville and Jason Eugene Sellers of Jacksonville said their promises May 20 at 2 p.m.
Dr. Glenn Phillips officiated at the double-ring ceremony at First Baptist Church.
Parents of the bride are Morgan Ena Flores of Jacksonville and Luis Fernando Santos of Lima, Peru.
Parents of the groom are Danny Eugene and Linda Wells Sellers of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of James Ralph and Helen Wilson Wells and late Ethel Earney Sellers and the late William Eugene Sellers of Kings Mountain.
The bride wore a strapless white bridal satin gown adorned with pearls and sequins.
For her headpiece, she chose a fingertip veil with crystal beads. She carried a bouquet of confetti roses and yellow calla lilies.
The bride’s mother was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Acotto and Beatriz Newman, friends of the bride.
Danny Eugene Sellers was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Ethan Scott Sellers, brother of the groom, and Kevin Acotto and Kevin Stone, friends of the groom.
Nicolle Bravo, daughter of the bride, was flower girl. Peyton Cullison was ring bearer.
Elsie Hooks directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Linda Everhart.
A program of wedding music was provided by Carol Gray, organist, and Dave Parsons, vocalist.
The couple is residing in Jacksonville.
The bride is a graduate of Lima, Peru, high school and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She is employed as managing editor of the Jacksonville Globe.
The groom graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 1995 and Wayne Community College with an associate’s degree. He is employed as a machinist at Naval Air Depot at Cherry Point.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in Elsie R. Hooks fellowship hall.
On May 19, a luncheon was held at the home of Bill and Jan Edgerton.
Friends held a shower May 7 at the home of Linda Everhart.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Ham’s Restaurant.
