Peedin - Hulbert
PRINCETON — Crystal Marie Hulbert and Christopher Louis Peedin were united in marriage April 29 at 5 p.m.
The Rev. Joshua Williamson officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Hepzibah Baptist Church.
Linda Graham of Goldsboro and Donald Hulbert of Troy are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Susie and Owney Knowles of Mount Olive and Sophronia Hulbert and the late Charles Hulbert of Wallace.
Debra Flowers of Goldsboro and Wayne Peedin of Princeton are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Louis and Ofelia Heidelmeier of Goldsboro and the late Thurman and Alice Peedin of Princeton.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line strapless gown with a multi-colored floral embroidery overlay around the top, waist and train.
For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered veil with hand-beaded floral trimming to match the dress.
Dawn Dixon, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.
Wayne Peedin was his son’s best man. Ushers were Danny Edwards, friend of the groom, and Matthew Graham, stepbrother of the bride.
Kim Rogers of LaGrange directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Jennifer and Cynthia Peedin, stepsisters of the groom.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School.
The groom graduated from Eastern Wayne High School. He attends North Carolina Wesleyan College.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Best Western.
On April 28, the groom’s family held a rehearsal dinner at Hepzibah Baptist Church fellowship hall.
The church held a pounding shower April 9.
On April 1, the bride’s mother held a bridal shower.
