Wall - Wilkerson
Rebecca Hope Wilkerson and Zachary Blake Wall were united in holy matrimony March 4 at 4 p.m.
Pastor Jim Wall officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Ray and Darlene Vail Wilkerson of Pikeville. She is the granddaughter of Clem and Inez Gray, Billy Ray Wilkerson and Norma Wilkerson of Goldsboro, Jimmy Vail of Pikeville and Janice Wilkerson of Fremont.
Parents of the groom are James Norman Jr. and Kim Forehand Wall of Chesapeake, Va. He is the grandson of Almeta Forehand and the late Lloyd Forehand of Goldsboro, Max and Edna Howard of Autryville and the late James Norman Wall Sr. of Ontario.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a halter-style A-line satin gown with a side drape and a beaded embroidered bodice. It had a lace-up back with an embroidered chapel train.
For her headpiece, she chose a veil trimmed in satin and a diamond-studded tiara. She carried a bouquet of white roses.
Jessica Barbato, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Hill, Lauren Delgadillo, April Vail, Elizabeth Barbato and Rita Sabadish.
Andrew Wall and Adam Wall were their brother’s best men. Groomsmen were Joshua Barbato, Andrew Garrett, Michael Staehling, Michael Durant and David Chadwick.
Hailey Anna Barbato was flower girl. Andrew Wall Jr.. was ring bearer.
Debbie Ross directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Jessica Sparks.
A program of wedding music was provided by Joshua Barbato, pianist, and Ryan Barbato, Matthew Bartlett and Lauren Delgadillo, vocalists.
After a wedding trip to West Jefferson, the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and a 2006 graduate of Wayne Community College with a networking degree. She is employed as a legal assistant with Baddour, Parker and Hine.
The groom graduated from StoneBridge School of Virginia in 2002. He attended Christopher Newport University. He is employed with Jackson Builders.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the National Guard Armory.
The bride’s sister held a shower at the home of the groom.
The bride’s aunt and grandmother held a shower at the home of Inez Gray.
The groom’s mother and sister-in-la held a shower at the home of the groom’s parents.
Coworkers of the bride held a shower at Billie’s Backstreet.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
