Sonia Thigpen Price and Michael Morrie Jones exchanged vows Friday, March 24, at 6 p.m.
The Rev. Charles Moseley officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Goldsboro Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth Gray Adams of Seven Springs and Robert Thigpen of Kinston. She is the granddaughter of the late James Gray and Sally Gray of New Bern and the late Guion and Pearline Thigpen of Trenton.
Patrick and Doris Jones of Goldsboro are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Luman and Thelma Spry of Fayette, Mo., and the late Marshall and Golda Jones of Owensville, Mo.
Given in marriage by Heather, Marley and Mckinsey Price, the bride wore a strapless gown of ivory satin accented with pearls and sequins.
Heather Price was maid of honor. Caroline Price was the bridesmaid.
Justin Jones was best man.
Marley and Mckinsey Price were flower girls.
Lou Ann Price directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Pat Preston, pianist.
After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
The bride is a graduate of South Lenoir High School and East Carolina University. She is employed as a sixth grade teacher at Wayne Country Day School.
The groom graduated from Goldsboro High school and the University of North Carolina School of Law. He is employed as a lawyer at Dees, Smith, Powell, Jarrett, Dees and Jones Law Firm.
