Reed - Gulledge
MOUNT OLIVE — Myranda Nicole Gulledge and Michael Wade Reed said their vows Dec. 30 at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Tommy Pegues officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Wayne’s Chapel Church of God of Prophecy.
Parents of the bride are Bishop Donald Jerry and Linda Kay Gulledge of Mount Olive. She is the granddaughter of Albert and Margaret Pierce of Cheraw, S.C., and Weldon and Janice Gulledge of Newport.
Larry and Kimber Lee Reed of Morristown, Tenn., are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Mary Ellen Reed and the late Roy Jesse Reed of Thornhill, Tenn.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a corset top that was laced in the back with rose beading and a full skirt with a train.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of pearls and rhinestones with a full traditional veil. She carried burgundy velvet roses with white pearl accents.
Megan Fowler was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lynn Bell, Tammy Combs, Whitney Cope and Kim Knight.
Robert Reed was best man. Ushers were Spencer Cope, Bradley Bell and Matthew Bell. Groomsmen were Chuck Williams, Brian Hufford, Randy Pulley and John Britt.
Cori Bell was the junior bridesmaid.
Lauren Bell was flower girl. Austin Williams was ring bearer.
Wendy Dickerson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Ashley Howell and Vanessa Johnson. Ashley Jarvis and Lauren Peper distributed programs.
Special helpers were Kathy Barwick, Sue Turner and Lynn Davenport.
A program of wedding music was provided by Elizabeth Oldham, pianist, and Whitney Cope, Lynn Bell and Neil Dickerson, vocalists.
After a wedding trip to Nantahala Gorge, the couple will reside in Morristown.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a 2005 graduate of Mount Olive College.
The groom graduated from Hancock High School in 2002 and Tennessee Technical Institute in 2003. He is employed as a B tech with Toyota-Koki Automotive North America Inc.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church family center.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Nino’s Italian Restaurant.
