Nassef - Sugg
Lezlie Erin Sugg of Fort Myers, Fla., and James Christopher Nassef of Fort Myers exchanged promises Nov. 27 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Gary Bailey officiated at the double-ring ceremony at 109 Leafwood Dr.
The bride is the daughter of Angela Sides Sugg and William Herald Sugg of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Phyllis McCraw Sides, Cherry Guthrie Sugg and the late William Gordan Sugg of Goldsboro.
The groom is the son of Tanis Faye Lassiter and Joseph Benjamin Nassef of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of Bessie Sugg and the late Fredrick Sugg of Goldsboro.
Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her brother, William Bradley Sugg, the bride wore a formal silk candlelight gown with crystal beadwork on the bodice. The back bodice was accented with silk-covered bridal buttons.
For her headpiece, she chose a crystal and pearl-accented tiara with a fingertip ivory veil. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.
Diana Bisbee, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Rebekah Nassef, friend of the bride, was the bridesmaid.
Joseph Benjamin Nassef was his son’s best man. Ushers were Stephen Jackson Sides and Drew McKnight, cousins of the bride. Jody Nassef, brother of the groom, was the groomsman.
Sybil Grace Sides, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Neil Maxton Sides, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
Kim Smith directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Mike and Niki Miller, brother-in-law and sister of the groom.
A program of wedding music was provided by Marcus Pennington, vocalist, and Anita Norris.
The couple is residing in Fort Myers.
The bride is a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She attends Florida Gulf Coast University for a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
The groom graduated from Rosewood High School and Wayne Community College. He is employed with Spectrum Wireless of Southwest Florida.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.
On Nov. 26, Angie Sugg held a bridesmaids’ brunch at her home.
The groom’s mother, Sandra Smith, Rebekah Nassef and Niki Miller held a wedding shower Oct. 9 at Harvest Fellowship Church.
On Oct. 8, Diana Bisbee held a bridal shower at the home of Angie Sugg.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Walnut Creek Country Club.
