Kelli Renee Holland and Robert Blake New were united in marriage Nov. 5 at 4 p.m.
The Rev. Jim Turbyfill officiated at the double-ring candlelight ceremony at Jordans Chapel Baptist Church.
Mike and Terri Brimberry of Mount Olive and Johnny Holland of Dudley are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Bob Walden of Palmyra, Ill., and Judy Norfolk and Myrtle Holland of Dudley.
Robert New of Garland and LouAnn New of Elizabethtown are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Davis and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Harold New of Garland.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her stepfather, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with spun gold bands at the waist and Austrian crystal accents. The back bodice was accented with satin-covered bridal buttons and flowed into a chapel-length train.
For her headpiece, she chose a rhinestone-accented tiara and an ivory veil with ivory satin trim. She carried a cascading bouquet of red Charlotte roses accented with confetti roses and Brown-Eyed Susie pums.
Jennifer Kidd, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Holmes, friend of the bride, and April Meshaw, sister of the groom.
MIchael Davis was his nephew’s best man. Groomsmen were Shane Holland and Chris Brimberry, brothers of the bride. Ushers were Brad Brimberry, brother of the bride, and Bryant Davis, friend of the groom.
Sara Davis, cousin of the groom, was the miniature bride.
Ashley Meshaw, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Matthew Brimberry, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Lisa Davis directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Staci Walden. Shannon Daughtry distributed programs. Lauren Brimberry, niece of the bride, distributed scrolls and birdseed.
A program of wedding music was provided by Justin Simmons.
The bride is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School. She is employed with Friendly Mart.
The groom is employed with Brimberry Custom Painting.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at their home. Johnny and Sue Best greeted guests. Tammy Houston poured punch. Carol Strickland and Debbie Kennedy cut the wedding cake.
On Oct. 16, Sue Best and Kathy Shelton held a shower at the home of Terri Brimberry.
April Meshaw and LouAnn New held a shower Sept. 17 at Friendship Baptist Church of Garland.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Jordans Chapel Baptist Church. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
