Bunch - Daughtery
Kyrstal Gail Daughtery and Philip Wade Bunch were united in holy matrimony Nov. 12 at 5 p.m.
The Rev. Penny Ziemer officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the Greenville Hilton courtyard.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe C. Daughtery of Walnut Creek. She is the granddaughter of the late Andrew Shepard and Mary Louise Shepard of Goldsboro.
The groom is the son of Linda Bunch of Greenville and Donald Bunch of Vanceboro. He is the grandson of Sadie Haslip, the late C.L. Haslip, Dorothy Bunch and the late Donald P. Bunch of Washington.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown with pearl beaded Venise lace and cap sleeves with a cathedral train.
For her headpiece, she chose a pearl beaded band with a fingertip-length veil. She carried a bouquet of lilies, lisianthus, poms and stephanotis.
Lisa Mercer, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Heather Jo Daughtery, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Bunch, sister of the groom, and Alison Bunch, sister-in-law of the groom.
Aaron Bunch, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Clark, Israel Clark and Brian Deans.
Debbie Rhodes and Edna Johnson, aunts of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Pat Sandman, aunt of the groom. Kristina Hardy of Kinston, cousin of the bride, distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by CK Entertainment.
After a wedding cruise to the western Caribbean, the couple will reside in Ayden.
The bride is a graduate of Wayne Country Day School and East Carolina University with a BSN in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse with the cardiac unit at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
The groom graduated from Rose High School of Greenville and Pitt Community College. He is employed as an electrician with ASMO of Greenville.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception dinner at the Hilton.
The bride held a bridal luncheon Nov. 12 at the Hilton.
On Nov. 11, the groom’s mother held a rehearsal dinner at the Beef Barn of Greenville. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
Friends of the groom held a bachelor party Nov. 5 in Greenville.
On Nov. 5, friends of the bride held a bachelorette party in Washington.
Lisa Mercer held a lingerie shower Aug. 6 at her home in Winterville.
Coworkers of the bride held a shower at Courtyard Tavern of Greenville.
Family and friends of the bride held a miscellaneous shower and pig picking at LaGrange Garden Club.
