Hairr - Butler
FAYETTEVILLE — Jennifer Raye Butler of Fayetteville and Kevin Chadwick Hairr exchanged promises Sept. 3 at 6 p.m.
Jackie Hairr officiated at the double-ring ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents.
Parents of the bride are Kevin and Leisa Butler of Wilmington. She is the granddaughter of Albert and Patsy Burton of Mars Hill and Pauline Butler and the late Kenneth Butler of Orono, Maine.
Parents of the groom are Jackie and Judy Hairr of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of the late Oscar and Clara Belle Beaney, the late Doris Hairr and Herman Hairr of Fay-etteville.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless satin and organza dress with a side-draped A-line with a ruffled edge and a beaded bodice.
She carried a clutch bouquet of green cymbidium orchids accented with Latin breeze roses wrapped with sheer organza ribbon.
Jennifer Kristan Whitley, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Crystal Ann Butler, sister-in-law of the bride; Mary Shannon Hairr, sister-in-law of the groom; and Katherine Louise Enright, Leigh Wampler Johnson, Kimberly Gail Casey and Carmen Jade Childers, friends of the bride.
Jackie Ryan Hairr was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Brian Keith Boyington and Brandon Scott Boyington, cousins of the groom; Adam George Butler, brother of the bride; Justin Michael Miles; cousin of the bride; and Michael Ray Armstrong, Michael Paul Foucht and Patrick Scott Massey, friends of the groom.
Kendra Janice Hayward, Kayla Marie Hayward and Alysha Marie Miles, cousins of the bride, were junior bridesmaids.
Lindsay Marie Butler, niece of the bride, and Zoey Jaclyn Hairr, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Adam Chase Butler, nephew of the bride, and Jake Ryan Hairr, nephew of the groom, were ring bearers.
Pamela Jenkins of Wilmington directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Diana Fisher, aunt of the groom. Peggy Boyington, aunt of the groom, distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Wendy Adams of the Fay-etteville Symphony.
The couple will reside in Fayetteville.
The bride attended Charles B. Aycock High School and is a 2004 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. She is employed as the deputy register of deeds with Cumberland County.
The groom graduated from Cape Fear High School of Fayetteville. He attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is employed as a site coordinator with HCC Invest-ments.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner Sept. 2 at the Rainbow Room of Fayetteville.
