KERNERSVILLE — Victoria Lynn Faucette became the wife of John Michael Williams Saturday, Aug. 6, at 5 p.m.

Pastor Phil Hulen officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Kernersville Wesleyan Church.

Parents of the bride are Tony Lyn and Lee F. Faucette of Kernersville. She is the granddaughter of Avice Jackson and Carroll Jackson of Dudley and Anita Faucette and the late Robert Faucette of Goldsboro.

Mike and Theresa Williams of Greensboro are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gladwell and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williams of Greensboro.

Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line candlelight wedding gown with metallic beading embroidery and an asymmetrical back adorned with three rosettes.

For her headpiece, she chose a fresh water pearl tiara with a double-layer mid-length veil with crystal accents. She carried a cascading bouquet of red roses, stargazer lilies and dendrobium orchids accented with pepperberry and ivy.

Stephanie Sharpe of Greensboro, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Krystal Kluttz and Amy Weedemeyer of Kernersville, Meredith Baker of Jamestown, Lindsay Goldenberg of Greensboro and Ashley Covington of Elon, friends of the bride.

Justin Hulen of Kernersville was his friend’s best man. Ushers were Chris Martinsen and Drew Stokes of Greensboro, friends of the groom. Groomsmen were Mitch Williams and Matt Williams of Greensboro, brothers of the groom; Blake Faucette of Kernersville, brother of the bride; and Dine Patterson of Richmond, Va., and Michael Galdo of Washington D.C., friends of the groom.

Bailey Dumas, friend of the bride, was flower girl.

Sherry Glendner directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Tiffany Gladwell, aunt of the groom. Annelise Gladwell, cousin of the groom, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jeanette Pruitt, pianist; Renee Spencer, organist; Christina Jackson and Meredith Baker, vocalists; and Brian Farris and Andy Maness, highland bagpipers.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Greensboro.

The bride is employed as an account representative with Graham and Associates.

The groom graduated from Lee University of Tennessee. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Khi. He is employed as a sales representative with Gladwell Insurance Co.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a dinner and dance reception at the Clarion Hotel of Greensboro. Cindy Creed and Kristie Campell served the wedding cake.

On July 30, Stephanie Sharpe and Krystal Kluttz held a bachelorette shower.

Cindy Creed, Kristie Campbell and Martha McKaughn held a miscellaneous shower July 10 at the bride’s church.

In June, Saralyn Fowler, Robin Fish, Fayson Tilley and Sara Ragan, relatives of the bride, held a Tupperware shower.

Stephanie Sharpe and Krystal Kluttz held a miscellaneous shower in June.

On May 15, Christina Faucette and Krissy Faucette, aunts of the bride, held a miscellaneous shower at Sleepy Creek Clubhouse.

The bride’s mother and Stephanie Sharpe, friend of the bride, held a Christmas shower in December.

The groom’s parents held a Jamaican poolside rehearsal dinner at the home of the groom.
