MacQueen - Frost
Lisa Ann Suggs Frost of Goldsboro and Kevin Foster MacQueen of Goldsboro pledged their promises July 16 at noon.
Pastor Rick Mondell officiated at the double-ring ceremony at New Life Baptist Church.
Parents of the bride are Edd Leamon Jr. and Dorothy Aldridge Suggs of LaGrange. She is the granddaughter of the late Thelma Sugg Aldridge and Harry L. Aldridge of LaGrange and the late Edd Leamon Sr. and Bertha Jernigan Suggs of LaGrange.
George Foster and Beverly Wedel MacQueen of Dudley are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Gerald C. and Neva Wedel of Wellington, Kan.
Given in marriage and escorted by her son, James Edward Frost Jr., the bride wore a long formal champagne gown with beading on the bodice.
She carried six long-stemmed white roses with baby’s breath and greenery tied with white ribbon.
Justin Rogers was the usher.
Kim Rogers directed the wedding and presided at the register.
A program of wedding music was provided by Celia Kelly, violinist.
The couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is a 1982 graduate of Bethel Christian Academy of Kinston. She attended Lenoir Community College, Pitt Community College, Campbell University and Atlantic Christian College for elementary education. She is employed as a nursery teacher at the Family YMCA.
The groom graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1979, North Carolina State University in 1983 with a degree in political science and the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1986. He is employed as an attorney with Goldsboro Legal Associates.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Texas Steakhouse.
A rehearsal dinner was held July 15 at Logan’s Restaurant.
