Rose - Haybarker
Crystal Marlene Haybarker and Stephen Matthew Rose were united in marriage Sunday, July 10, at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Pete Bass officiated at the ceremony at Lane Tree Country Club.
Robin and Michelle Haybarker of Goldsboro and Carolyn Howell and Stephen Robards of Greesnboro are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Shirley Johnson and Billy and Beulah Howell of Goldsboro.
The groom is the son of Harold and Sandra Rose of Chapel Hill.
Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white A-line gown with a strapless neckline and beaded corded lace. It was accented with pearls and sequins and flowed into a semi-cathedral-length train.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara accented with pearls and rhinestones with an elbow-length veil.
Amanda Wiseman Johnson of Durham, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jasmine Hudolin and Tara Osborne of Greensboro and Sandy Gurley of Goldsboro, friends of the bride.
Kevin Rose of Ohio was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Tim Meyer and Paul Byrne of Mebane, friends of the groom, and Nicholas Rose-Stamey of Ohio, nephew of the groom. Victor Haybarker of Greensboro, brother of the bride, was the usher.
Rachel Rose of Ohio, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Hunter Goodwin, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.
Betsy Outlaw of Goldsboro, cousin of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Amber Jones o Goldsboro, cousin of the bride.
A program of wedding music was provided by Glenn Outlaw of Goldsboro and Kevin Rose of Ohio.
After a wedding trip to Telluride, Colo., the couple is residing in Mebane.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held. Harlowe Jurney and Hazel Smith of Goldsboro, aunts of the bride, served the three-tiered wedding cake. Jack and Lois Duncan of Ohio, friends of the groom, poured punch.
On July 9, the groom’s parents held a pig picking at Berkeley Park.
The bridesmaids held a bachelorette party July 9 in Raleigh.
On June 5, Harlowe Jurney, Hazel Smith, Agnes Hart and Shirley Johnson held a bridal shower at the Jurney home in Goldsboro.
