Lowery - Singleton
Linda Price Singleton and John David Lowery of Goldsboro were married March 5 at 3 p.m.
Dr. Glenn Phillips Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at First Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of the late Dallas W. Sr. and Reba Price of Goldsboro.
Parents of the groom are the late James F. and Lucile Lowery of Kinston.
Escorted by her grandson, Carson Daly, the bride wore a gold A-line formal gown with a semi-cathedral train.
She carried a bouquet of ivory roses.
Ann Price Giddens, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Beth Lowery, daughter of the groom, was the bridesmaid.
Wright Lowery was his father’s best man. Ushers were Dallas W. Price Jr., brother of the bride, and Michael, Jeffery and Brandon Daly, sons of the bride.
Ashleigh Daly, granddaughter of the bride, and Sarah Lowery, granddaughter of the groom, were flower girls.
Allyson Phillips directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Debra Crosby. Jonathan Lowery, grandson of the groom, and Preston, Chaz and Jesse Daly, grandsons of the bride, were pages and distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by the Rev. Fred Kelly, vocalist, and Carol Gray, organist.
After a wedding cruise to the Caribbean Islands, the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Hostesses were Allyson Daly and Shannon Daly.
