Sutton - Bell
FAISON — Carrie Jean Bell and Jesse J. Sutton were married Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.
Pastor Willie C. Alford officiated at the double-ring candlelight ceremony at Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Bertha Bell of Faison and the late Maudie Bell.
The groom is the son of Jesse and Louvenia Sutton of LaGrange.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Alfonza Bell of Dudley.
Attendants were Jewel Wilson of Goldsboro and Delois Copeland and Ziva Bell of Faison, sisters of the bride; Theodore Bullock of Newton Grove; Richard Bell of Columbus, Ga.; Rod Davis of Durham; Katrina Herring of Dudley; and Thurman Copeland, Issac Copeland, Kenneth Earl Bell and Annie Thompson of Faison.
Hostesses were Evangelist Sharon Butler of Charlotte and Andora Hankerson of Greenville, nieces of the bride.
Angela Greenfield of Fuquay-Varina and Gwen Bowman of Charlotte, nieces of the bride, directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Chris Butler of Raleigh, nephew of the bride, vocalist, and Rep. Larry M. Bell of Clinton, cousin of the bride.
After a wedding trip to the beach, the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s family held a reception in the church fellowship hall.
