Hansen-Szalanski
Catina Lynn Szalanski became the wife of Bryan Patrick Hansen of Goldsboro Oct. 16 at 2:30 p.m.
Chaplain David W. Kelley officiated at the ceremony at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel.
John Constatine Szalanski Jr. and Shirley Ann Szalanski of Goldsboro are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Szalanski of Washington, Pa., and Mr. and mrs. Allen Olliver of Pace, Fla.
The groom is the son of Roger Victor Hansen and Carol Jane Hansen of Batesburg, S.C. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hansen of Township of Hansen, Wisc., and Mr. and Mrs. George Kuehl of Vesper, Wisc.
Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a halter-type dress with a cathedral train. The gown was eight layers with beading.
For her headpiece, she chose a two-piece veil. She carried a bouquet of white flowers with blue accents.
Catheryn M. Szalanski was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Audrey Flores and Lindsey Standford.
Richard G. Marshall was best man. Ushers were Jason Auistin, Byron Hogan and John Ross Holskey. Groomsmen were John Szalanski III and Dion Furgeson.
Brandi Bayless was flower girl. Brandon Hogan was ring bearer.
Marie Olsen directed the wedding. Raymond Szalanski Jr. distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Phil Eubanks, organist.
After a wedding cruise to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, and Castaway Cay, Bahamas, the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She attended Wayne Community College. She is employed as a cook at Seymour Johnson AFB Bowling Center.
The groom graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1987. He is serving in the Air Force as an aircraft systems hydraulic technician.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Seymour Johnson AFB Officers’ Club.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
