SNOW HILL — Heather Denise Sugg and Keith Smith Parker of Aiken, S.C., were married Saturday, April 17.

The Rev. Claire Clyburn officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Calvary Memorial United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of John Edward Sugg III of Snow Hill and Kay Delbridge Davis of Bath. She is the granddaughter of Danize W. Delbridge and the late William C. Delbridge of Spring Hope and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Sugg Jr. of Snow Hill.

The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Ross Parker of Junction City, Ga.

Nancy Celeste Sugg of Brevard, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Amanda Prevatte of Wilmington and Ashleigh Danize Strickland of Raleigh.

George Demetrias Spires of Aiken was best man. Groomsmen were David Oscar Parker of Jasper, Ga., brother of the groom, and Ralph Eddie Hull of Standing Rock, Ala. The usher was James Carr Barrow of Wilson.

A program of wedding music was provided by George Mewborn III of Snow Hill, organist.

After a wedding trip to Saint Marteen, French West Indies, the couple is residing in Aiken.

The bride is a graduate of Barton College and Cape Fear Community College of Wilmington with degrees in office system technology and nursing assistant.

The groom graduated from Southern Polytechnic University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology. He is president and owner of Industrial Technical Associates of Barnwell, S.C.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Bentley Vernon Hall Estate of Kinston.

On April 16, the groom held a rehearsal dinner at Carraway’s Restaurant of Kinston.

Jesse and Ellen Aman and Jimmy and Cindy Barrow held a wedding shower March 27 at Calvary Memorial United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
