BOYS' INDOOR TRACK: Golden Falcons dominate meet

KINSTON -- Charles B. Aycock claimed first place in six of 11 contested events during a multi-meet team ran at Kinston High School on Wednesday afternoon.
The 3,200 relay of John Parrish, Davis Carroll, Jon Bowers and Deshawn Owens crossed the line first in 9 minutes, 15 seconds. Owens and Carrolls ended up 1-2 in the 1,000 meters with times of 2:54 and 2:57, respectively.
Trevor Holt and Elijah Bryant led a 1-2 effort in the shot put with throws of 46 feet, 3 inches and 38-41/2, respectively.
Kamarion Graham won the 55-meter dash. Freshman Dacoda Hudson claimed the 1,600 run. Chance Hobday, Andrew Curry and Joseph Stauffer spearheaded a 1-2-3 finish in the 3,200.
The GoldenFalcons return to action Jan. 14, 2016, at Hope Mills South View.
