Volleyball: Golden Falcons upend Rosewood in 4 sets

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock launched its 2015 season with a 26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20 triumph over county rival Rosewood on Monday afternoon.
It was the season-opening match for both teams.
Lexi Mercer led the Eagles with 11 kills and six blocks. Ada Rivera (four service aces) and Kaitlyn Kincaid combined for 15 assists. Hannah Daniels supplied four kills and seven blocks.
Hailey Weeks added four kills.
CBA's stats were not available.
Rosewood (0-1 overall) is the guest of Midway today.
