Three J.H. Rose goals in the first half proved to be too much for Charles B. Aycock to overcome in its 6-2 loss Monday in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference affair.
After conceding a fourth goal early in the second half, C.B. Aycock came back in the second half with two goals of its own. Hannah Rey scored the first off of an assist by Anja Kliss.
Alex Strickland collected an unassisted goal.
C.B. Aycock (3-3-1 overall, 0-3-1 ECC) plays tonight at South Central.
