ECBL: C.B. Aycock White cruises past Rosewood

Charles B. Aycock White pounded out nine hits during a 13-2, mercy-rule win over Rosewood in an Eastern Carolina Baseball League game Wednesday evening.
Ashton McGee collected two hits and scored three runs for CBA White. Chandler Matthews (RBI), Jacob Sanford (three RBI), Bryce Anders (RBI), Bradley Pate, Kyle Davis (RBI), Caleb Smith (RBI) and Brandon Palmer (RBI) contributed one hit apiece.
Matthews emerged the winning pitcher after giving up two hits and striking out four in a three-inning stint. Davis and Anders combined for two innings of three-strikeout relief.
Jacob Dubose (two RBI), Brent Breedlove and Bryce McKeel each had one hit for Rosewood.
Weather permitting, Aycock White (5-1 overall) plays host to North Lenoir tonight. Rosewood is the guest of East Duplin.
