KENNETH A. ANDERSON

Kenneth A. Anderson, 80, died Friday morning at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Herman and Minnie Anderson.
He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Samara Anderson.
Kenneth retired from civil service/commissary at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, and was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church.
A service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church, with the Rev. Richard Tolar officiating.
Family members will greet friends Sunday at 2 p.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Anderson; a special feline friend "Boots;" his children, Keith Anderson (Dawn), Mark Anderson (Aracelly) and Renee Barnes (Chad); grandchildren, Chelsea Duffy (Brian), Shelle Anderson, Mark David Anderson, Brian Barnes, Kenneth Anderson and Emily Barnes; and great-grandchildren, Connor Duffy and Chloe Duffy.
His favorite quotes were "do right" and "God's grace will be sufficient."
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Love Memorial Baptist Church, 192 Woodland Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
