Vanessa Herring Bowden, 58, Rose Hill, died Sunday at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington.
Funeral will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home chapel of Rose Hill Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. James Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha.
She was the daughter of Thelma H. Hill of Bronx, N.Y., and stepdaughter of Frances Mitchell of Watha. She was married to Willie Bowden of Rose Hill.
She is survived by a son; two daughters; and two stepchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
