JOHN CHAPMAN

John Chapman, 67, 3668 Wayne Memorial Drive, peacefully succumbed to his master's call Friday at his residence.
He was born Monday, Jan. 8, 1951, in Virginia to the late James II and Gladys Chapman.
His life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Bear Creek Association Headquarters. His mortal frame will be laid to rest Monday in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Harvey Chapman; his children, Debra Little of Goldsboro, N.C., Regina Harvey of Wilson, N.C., Natahsa Harvey of Raleigh, N.C., Hosea Harvey of Wake Forest, N.C., and John Chapman II of Windsor, N.C.; his siblings, Dorothy Poland, James Chapman III, Joseph Chapman, William Chapman and Larry Chapman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Chapman will lie in state at the church Sunday one hour prior to the service.
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the procession.
