Betty Rene Lancaster Lee, 76, peacefully passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care.
She was born in Wayne County Aug. 24, 1941, to the late James Forest Lancaster and Virginia Potter Lancaster.
She had worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses, and was a homemaker.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Rona Lee Waters; son, David Wayne Lee; grandchildren, Zachary, Meghan, Seth, Jessica, Gabby, Tara and Mikayla; great-grandchildren, Natalia and Arlee; brother, Ron Williams; sister, Ginger Bonham; and a special friend and neighbor, Jimi Wunders.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Coble, and the love of her life, Bill Roberts.
