PANTICE 'PAT' PARKS SMITH INGRAM FISH

Pantice "Pat" Parks Smith Ingram Fish, 83, Venice, Fla., and Pine Knoll Shores, N.C., formerly of Wilson, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Venice Hospice House in Venice, Fla.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at 3 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Service, and will be conducted by the Rev. Charles J. Robl III.

Pat was born in Wayne County, N.C., July 29, 1934, to the late Joseph Polk Parks and Adeline Gurley Parks.

She retired from a long career in education in Wilson and Johnston counties.

She was a graduate of Atlantic Christian College and East Carolina University.

She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma sorority.

In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her husbands, Ross Ingram and James Fish.

She was also predeceased by her siblings, Mable Osborne, Osborne Parks, Clifton Earl Parks, Carlton Parks, Mary Virginia Uzzell, Josephine Webb and Ruby Ann Parks, and grandson, Cameron Register.

She is survived by her daughter, Dana Sceeny and husband, Martin, of Morehead City; son, Wes Smith and wife, Connie, of Raleigh; grandson, Daniel Register of Charlotte; granddaughter, Emily Smith of Raleigh; sister, Betty Moore of Raleigh; brother, Samuel Parks, of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews whom she adored greatly.

Pat lived life to the fullest.

She enjoyed traveling the world and spending her summers in Pine Knoll Shores.

Later in life, she retired to Venice, where she led an active lifestyle, enjoying big band music and dancing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity of one's choice.
