Dorothy Stroud Alphin, 90, Kinston, died Friday.
Funeral is Monday at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Truett officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Westview Cemetery.
Dorothy was born March 18, 1927, to the late Leslie Ray Stroud Sr. and Barbara Barwick Stroud. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manley Wilbur Alphin.
She is survived by three daughters.
Visitation is Monday after the service. At other times, the family will be at the home of Mike and Catherine Pridgen, 813 Alphin Road, Kinston.
