Magdalene Thompson, 87, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, with eldress Jerri Daniels officiating. Burial will be at 306 E. Elm St.
She was born in Wayne County May 12, 1930, to Maggie Howell and Eddie Winbush.
She is survived by two daughters and a son.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m., with the family present 7 to 8, at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
