FRANKIE SHAVER FARFOUR

Frankie Shaver Farfour, 90, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at her home.
Frankie was born in Iredell County Aug. 14, 1927, to the late Graham Ross Shaver and Frances Elizabeth Parker Shaver.
She was married to her husband of 64 years, Mike Farfour, who preceded her in death Aug. 30, 2017.
Frankie supported her husband in many of his business and civic and charitable activities.
Even in her declining health, Frankie continued to exemplify God's love and a heart for serving others. Frankie loved First Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro, and was a dedicated and faithful member.
She had a large extended circle of family and friends, and they were all very special to her, especially her golfing friends. She will be missed, but greatly remembered.
A service to celebrate Frankie's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Robert F. Bardin officiating.
The family will greet friends Saturday following the service in McChesney Hall at the church.
A private interment will be held in Willow Dale Cemetery for the family.
Frankie is survived by her son, Jeff Farfour and wife, Kelly; daughter-in-law, Gina Farfour; grandchildren, Devon Farfour, Taylor Farfour, Parker Farfour and Madison Farfour; and several nieces and nephews she loved very much, including Cathy Howell and Fran Twisdale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Farfour, and sisters, Elizabeth "Lib" Holler and Jane Marrow.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Frankie's memory to First Presbyterian Church, 1101 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
