LYNN GRADY DALY
April 17, 1949-Jan. 24, 2018
Lynn Grady Daly, 68, Baker's Chapel area of Mount Olive, passed away gently and peacefully Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Lynn, raised on her parents' dairy farm in northern Duplin County, attended Bethel United Methodist Church during her growing up years.
After her marriage to Butch Daly, she became a member of Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, and recently had been attending The Bridge of Mount Olive.
Lynn had been employed with Bank of America for 22 years, retiring as manager of the Mount Olive branch.
Her retirement years were spent operating, along her husband and son, the family's poultry farm and making happy memories with her children and grandboys.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Bryant "Butch" Daly; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Holly Daly; a daughter, Brooks Daly Garrett; four grandsons, Christopher, Carson and Cuyler Daly and Colt Garrett all of Baker's Chapel area; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Claudia Grady of Rosewood; another sister-in-law, Kay Davis Grady of Topsail Island; brother-in-law, Dennis Daly and wife, Karen, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. and Inez Joyner Grady; brother and sister-in-law, Robert W. "Bobby" Grady Jr. and Vonda Lee Herring Grady; brother, Charles D. Grady; and her parents-in-law, Ferrell and Lavina Daly.
Services will be held by the graveside at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive. Officiating will be pastor Andrew Price.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service and at other times, at the home.
