William Darnell Edwards, 73, died Sunday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship. Burial will be at Fremont Cemetery.
He was born in Greene County to Archie Edwards and Hazel Ham Jones.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present 6 to 7, at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
